Al2O3 ceramics is one of the ceramic materials with the largest production volume and wide application in the world. It is widely used in machinery, electronics, chemical industry, aerospace and other fields. Compared with other oxide-based ceramics, Al2O3 ceramics not only have good mechanical and electrical properties, but also have a wide range of sources and lower prices. Al2O3 ceramics are mainly used in ceramic tools, bearings, etc. in terms of mechanical properties, especially Al2O3 ceramic tools have excellent toughness, strength and durability, and more and more traditional tools are being replaced by them; in electronics, they are mainly used in various Ceramic substrate and insulating porcelain parts, the Al2O3 ceramic substrate produced has good insulation and high strength; in chemical industry, it is mainly used in Al2O3 ceramic film, which has good thermal stability, acid resistance and corrosion resistance; in aerospace, it is used in base fiber, Enhanced thermal insulation properties of composite materials.

 

Because the melting point of Al2O3 is 2050 ℃, the firing of Al2O3 ceramics requires higher temperature and heat consumption. For example, the sintering temperature of common 95Al2O3 ceramics (the content of Al2O3 in the ceramics is 95%) is greater than 1600 °C, the required kiln furniture is more expensive than the low-temperature ceramics, and the kiln furniture has a large loss in use and complicated maintenance, which restricts the application of Al2O3 ceramics. . Therefore, reducing the sintering temperature of Al2O3 ceramics not only reduces production costs and saves energy, but also is beneficial to further applications in other fields.
